Easy tip to increase RSS subscribers

If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed or get your blog updates by email. Thanks for visiting!

One very simple tip that I overlooked when I first started blogging was to place a feedreader icon in the address bar for Firefox users.

A lot of old wordpress themes do not have this set as the standard, so if your rss feed does not show up in the address bar, make sure to add the one line of code to your blog. For demonstration purposes, I included the html code for you:
<link rel=“alternate” type=“application/rss+xml” title=“RSS feed” href=“http://feeds.feedburner.com/MixedMarketArts” />

On another note, I know all of the previous posts about blog customization and such might have been far off-topic, but they were a necessity that I had to get out of the way. I will now go back to blogging about increasing website traffic, making money online, and search engine optimization.

Great tip. Like all Wordpress default, I had the one where is says: RSS Feed” href=”<?php bloginfo(’rss2_url’); ?>”, now I have changed mine to link to feedburner. Thanks.

Btw, your comment field for Name, Mail and Website and Submit button have white text which I can read unless I highlight. I’m using FF 2.0.

It was a problem with the threaded comments plugin I recently installed, it has been fixed. Thanks for letting me know.
