This is interesting. I never realized there was a five day return period. All Google would have to do is not approve anyone until there website is six days old.

After Network Solutions was recently rapped and Google following suit these practices are more or less history. It in interesting that it took this long for people to notice and do something about it.

I don’t think not being able to monetize your domain with Adsense for a week isn’t that big of a deal. I don’t usually like to monetize blogs until I get a few readers, maybe for a month or so.

Seriously, those people should try start a real business where you can’t “taste” how your success will be. I’ll be glad when these practices begin getting cut back, even if it only starts a little at a time. After all, there are tons of marketing schemes that would need to put a required time on domains before the practice would not still be very profitable.

I am not sure if domain tasting will ever stop. the domain idustry is so big and soo profitable for the big ones… why should they stop now?

Didnt even know about the domain tasting. thats just wrong,..who needs to test a domain besides the people who are buying it for what you mentioned.
