These are very interesting results. We’ve been giving advice to our clients on web video marketing and bringing them results from landing on the top charts of youtube for the day to giving videos that extra bump needed to go viral.

The e-commerce company where I work does this, and we have over 100 videos on YouTube that do pretty well. It’s definitely a lot easier to rank a YouTube page than one of your own (though ideally, you’ll do both).

As for the username, I would imagine that by using the typo you are only increasing your chances for ranking, so you might as well. =)
