Link Building with LogoPallet

A little over a week ago I received an email from someone trying to promote their website with backlinks. Unlike most of the email pitches I see, the site he was looking to promote actually offered free dofollow links in return. The website I am talking about is LogoPallet.

LogoPallet is a free logo design gallery, much like the many CSS galleries that I have used for link building in the past. LogoPallet lets you submit your logo to be displayed on the front page of their website to all of their users, and they also create a page with a little paragraph of information about your site where you are allowed to put an anchor text link back to your website.

For example, you can check out the Collin LaHay’s LogoPallet Page here to get a quick idea of what I am talking about. It has a link to my website, features my logo, and it has a place where I could put an “authors description” about my website and link to my website with the anchor text link that I wanted. The site also has a comment system so you could, in theory, rate and discuss the many logos that LogoPallet features on their site.

For most non-technologically savvy individuals, setting up your logo may take a good 15-20 minutes, so be sure to check out their how-to guide to speed up the process.  For those of you who are experts at Wordpress already, it should only take a few minutes to get your page up and running (upon the admin approving it), and a dofollow backlink to your website.

Hi Collin,

This is a good addition to the plethora of backlink collections you can do for a site. :)

Other Wordpress additions you can do to increase backlinks is to install the CommentLuv add-on. It checks the commentor’s site for the latest blog they have posted.

If anybody has questions or has something to share, you are welcome leave a comment in my blog or post a topic in my forum.

All the best!

Regards,

Erwin Chua

I am not sure if you have covered this already, but I have had some success with submitting software to shareware sites. It brings in like 50 backlinks on various sites easily.

Have you looked into this? btw, belated xmas and have a rocking new year :)

Thankfully, one of my sites has a killer logo that I had done over a decade ago. Am submitting this to LogoPallet. The other sites, I am jut using WordPress text until traffic picks up, and a custom theme/logo can be justified.
