If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed or get your blog updates by email. Thanks for visiting!
Michael Dunlop (a new advertiser of mine), has just written a post called the top 30 bloggers under 21. This is the second post like this that I have been on, and hopefully many more to come. Michael put me at #12, which is a bit confusing because there are blogs ranked above mine that are FAR smaller, and blogs ranked below mine that are more popular than mine, but I suppose I should be happy anyway.
If you want to do me a favor, head on over to michael’s blog and digg up the post so that I may build a few more links out of it.

I had been using the same phone for three years and knew it was time for an upgrade. I bought the apple iphone and have to say that I absolutely love it. I can setup all of my emails on it, browse the web, youtube it up, check the status of my websites (mediatemple has an iPhone compatible section), and even login to wordpress. If you are planning on getting a new phone soon, I recommend testing out an iPhone at your local Mac shop.
Did I mention that I wrote this entire blog post from my phone?

The banner at the top of the site (next to the logo) is available for less than $2 per day.

The weekly winner contest is an ongoing contest that I run here on my blog. Every week, I give away $25 as well as free donated prizes to a different person inside the blog raffle. If you would like to enter for a chance to win $25 as well as a variety of free donated prizes every week, please read the official contest post about the weekly winner contest. The earlier you enter the raffle, the better your chances are at winning your free $25! It is Sunday again, which means that the next prize winner is chosen! The seventh weekly winner is Marc Roger. You can read his entry post here. Congratulations on winning your free $25 as well as your great bonus prize. As a heads up, there will only be four more weekly winners, so get any last entries in now!

I saw a viral ‘million dollar idea’ site off a forum thread, and I thought I would do my part and keep the viral traffic rolling. One individual from the Netherlands decided that he wanted to make his money by doing nothing but sleeping. He has dedicated a site to make money off this idea and has called his site Sleeping Rich. He has chosen to isolate himself for an unknown number of days (”until I am rich”), and has a streaming webcam of his actions. While I do not know the significance of him “sleeping” to gain his riches, it still seems like a crazy idea that a lot of people will talk about. When I first heard about the site, it had 150,000 visitors, and less than four hours later it is at 167,000, showing that it is starting to snowball.

This is a guest post by Jason Pereira who blogs over at The University Kid and is currently running an RSS contest with $150.00 in prizes.
Anyone that’s ever tried to run a blog should know just how important readers are… without them, you probably wouldn’t be blogging.
No one likes to blog for empty space, and readers (and comment leavers) can make the difference between you quitting after a couple weeks and you going on to become a blogging mogul. I’d say the readers have the largest impact on a blog apart from the owner – their prods and advice can refine your blogging technique and help develop your blog into a better place to visit.

If you’re going to have a successful blog, you need to get smart with setting goals. Success does not just happen; you have to plan for it. I’ve found it to be a process of trial and error. I know a lot more about getting a new blog started now than I did two years ago - and I’ve made plenty of mistakes on the way. Here’s what I’ve learned about goal setting.

I would just like to announce that the publisher of Create The Dream Magazine was kind enough to become a long term sponsor for the weekly winner contest. In addition to the $25 that I give away every week, you can earn a free yearly subscription to the magazine (valued at $24). This means that the contest prize nearly doubled yet it still has the same easy rules to enter. Create The Dream is going to be sponsoring the next four winners with a yearly subscription, and if things go well for them they will continue to sponsor additional winners as well.
