Udi Drezner contacted me about his site called LookupPage, which is an online tool for managing your online presence (ranking in the search engine), and for tracking who is looking for you.
Basically, you can sign up for a free profile account much like my post about Naymz. On your profile page, you can write an “about” type page, as well as anything you would put on a LinkedIn or Facebook profile. At the bottom, you are allowed to add as many of your links as you want, and they are search engine friendly anchor text.

A new site just launched in their Alpha stage called 12 Seconds. The site is basically the Twitter of video. The idea is that you record a short video of what you are doing that is a maximum length of 12 seconds. Now in my opinion, Twitter works because you can type a quick update in about 5 seconds due to all the great web plugins for it. My question is… why in the world would someone port that into video format? The end result is the majority of the current videos being uploaded featuring a low quality cut of someone talking insanely fast and not punctuating their sentences.

I am finally back in Minnesota after having been in Nebraska competing on the Top Affiliate Challenge. The last episode is online now, check it out at TopAffiliateChallenge.com.
The show itself had some ups and downs (after all, it was the first season and we were the guinea pigs), and there was a lot of internal problems with a few of the affiliate networks, but aside from that the networking was awesome. It was the first time that I have met any other blogger in person (John Chow and Shoemoney as well for that matter).

There’s been a lot of talk in the last year or so about the death of article marketing. Article marketing is using free articles to promote yourself and, in my opinion, it’s anything but dead. In fact, it’s a great way to promote yourself and your services. And if you have a blog or website already, it doesn’t even have to be hard work. Here’s how to use it.

Just got back from having some delicious steak from Outback Steakhouse over in Lincoln Nebraska. We have been having sponsored (donated) food for awhile, so it has been pretty repetitive, so while the majority of the top affiliates went over to eat some sandwiches, John Chow bought us dinner at Outback Steakhouse.
I ate with John Chow, Ian Fernando, Jani Ghaffor, Carl Zetterlund, Collin De Ruyck, and Jonathan Ryan. Here is a little youtube video John Chow recorded.

For the first time in the history of this blog, I am doing a roundup post of links to other people’s blogs. I have come across a lot of material that is worth reading for any webmaster looking for free website marketing strategies, and wanted to share them with everyone.

Hello everyone, early last month I auditioned for the Top Affiliate Challenge, an upcoming internet reality television show. The show is where affiliate marketers compete to sell products in the Lincoln, Nebraska area. Since I am looking to expand my affiliate marketing knowledge, I created an audition video. The quality of the video isn’t that great, but since the public voting for the contestants ends in 48 hours, that is all I have to go with right now. I am around the top 25% of contestants to be chosen from, so I need your help to move up.
