Here is the new CollinLaHay.com logo. I wanted to keep it simple and focus more on the blue to contrast the orange of the site, and I think it does a great job of that. What do you think of it?
Thats right, I have decided that this blog will be better off on CollinLaHay.com, so I will be transferring it fairly soon (after the new logo is done).
There are a number of reasons, but the main one is for branding purposes. When I started Mixed Market Arts, I planned on everyone understanding that, just like the Mixed Martial Arts of fighting, this blog would have a mixture of different internet marketing techniques.
Long story short, people didn’t get it and people to this day say “mixed martial arts dot com” when they are talking to me, so I decided my branding idea actually backfired and it is time to move it to my name.
Way back in March, I made the post that I was looking for people who were interested in selling their sites to me so I could expand my portfolio. Since that post, I have received dozens of offers, but unfortunately most were for websites that were either web directories, cheap proxies, image hosting sites, or myspace resource clones. However, every once in awhile I find a diamond in the rough.
It is sort of embarrassing to admit, but for whatever reasons Google may have, they were ranking my LinkedIn.com profile #1 in google for a “Collin LaHay” search. For those of you who don’t know yet, Collin LaHay is my name. 
It seemed odd that I had received a pagerank 5 and having an extreme amount of trust on my domain, that Google wouldn’t think I should rank the top result for my own name. It just goes to show that you should register your name, as well as your companies, and possibly even your competitors as users on many of the web2.0 websites because they are growing so fast and the search engines give them so much authority.
My name is Collin Lahay, and this is my site. I am 19 years old, and unlike most people my age, I earn a lot of money from the web. I am living proof that anyone of any age can make money online, and I hope to help you to do the same. This website is a collection of posts by myself and many others on the topic of how anyone from a 12 year old to a 60 year old can easily make money online. Everything on this site is completely free information. The main topic of this site is catered to people who make a little bit of money online already, and who are looking to start making thousands of dollars more by marketing your sites. However, I am hoping this site will be beneficial to you, whether you are new to internet marketing trying to make your first dollar online, or are a seasoned professional looking to continue dominating your niche. I plan to show you every trick that the other big guys would keep to themselves.
